Armenian parliament staff to receive bonuses

The Armenian National Assembly has announced new bonuses for its staff. Speaker Alen Simonyan signed two orders authorizing one-off cash bonuses for its employees on 22 January.

One decision stipulates that the staff will be granted lump-sum payments. The second order sets out that employees will receive additional payments equivalent to 15% of their official salary rate in 2026.

The move follows large payments in December 2025, when all 107 MPs received around 3 million drams each, including salaries, bonuses and other allowances.
