Mother See holds memorial service for fallen soldiers

A memorial service was held at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin on Tuesday to honor Armenians who lost their lives defending the homeland.

The ceremony, led by Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, took place at the Mother Cathedral in Etchmiadzin, the headquarters of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the church press service reported.

Clergy and worshippers prayed for the repose of souls for those who sacrificed their lives for the homeland, marking the national day of remembrance and reverence for fallen soldiers.
