Armenian church leader meets former military chaplains

Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II on Friday met with former military chaplains whose service in the armed forces was discontinued on 1 February, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin reported.

The church leader expressed gratitude and offered his blessing to them, praising their role in strengthening the spiritual and moral climate within the army. He highlighted their contribution to deepening soldiers’ faith, patriotism and morale.

During the meeting, Karekin II also announced new appointments for the clerics, urging them to continue their pastoral mission with the same dedication in their new assignments.
