Cyclone brings snow, rain and fog to Armenia

A Mediterranean cyclone has swept into Armenia, bringing widespread precipitation.

Snow, sleet and rain are expected across much of the country from Tuesday through Wednesday morning, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reports. Some areas will see heavy falls, with mountain regions experiencing strong winds of up to 18 metres per second, blizzards and poor visibility.

Fog is forecast in several regions, while icy roads are likely on Wednesday morning.
