Samvel Karapetyan elected chairman of Strong Armenia party

Armenian businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan has been unanimously elected chairman of the newly established Strong Armenia party. The decision was made during the party’s congress in Yerevan on 11 February.

The party will hold its official presentation at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex on 12 February, when its candidate for prime minister will be announced.

The event will be streamed live for local and international media, with accredited journalists invited to attend in person.
