Armenia sets TV and radio ad rates for parliamentary election campaign
The Armenian Commission on Television and Radio on Thursday approved the rates for paid airtime during the campaign period for the 7 June 2026 parliamentary elections.
The regulator set the price at 45,000 drams per minute for Public TV, 18,000 drams for the First Channel News and 1,800 drams for Public Radio, all inclusive of VAT.
At the same session, the commission announced a regional broadcast licensing competition in Tavush Province, approved a license amendment for TV NET LLC and endorsed program notifications submitted by Hybrid Production & Distribution LLC.
The commission also adopted a methodology to ensure equal conditions for political parties and alliances in audiovisual media during the campaign. Decisions may be appealed within two months to the commission or Armenia’s Administrative Court.
