The Baku Military Court on Tuesday delivered a verdict in the sham trial of Armenian businessman and philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan, a former Artsakh state minister.
Azerbaijani media reports suggest that Vardanyan was handed down a 20-year jail term for "crimes against humanity, war crimes, involvement in terrorism and other grave offences."
Earlier in February, five former Artsakh leaders were sentenced to life imprisonment, while two others received lengthy jail terms in Baku.
