Armenia is experiencing one of its warmest February days on record, according to the country’s Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Centrer.
Its Deputy Director Gagik Surenyan said unusually high temperatures are being observed across several regions.
In Syunik and Tavush valleys, daytime highs are expected to reach 23-24C, while the Ararat Valley will see temperatures around 19C. The capital, Yerevan, is forecast to enjoy 17-18C, far above seasonal norms.
