Rain, snow expected in Armenia

Temperatures will fall across Armenia from Thursday, with rain and snow in places.

In Yerevan, showers are expected on Thursday, with further rain on Sunday evening and into Monday night. Dry spells are forecast for Friday, Saturday and during the day on Monday.

Elsewhere, lowland areas will see rain, while higher ground will face snow at night and sleet during the day. Winds will strengthen at times, reaching 14-18 m/s, with blizzards and poor visibility likely in some mountain regions.

Temperatures are set to drop by 4-5C, and by as much as 7-10C in Lori, Tavush and Syunik Provinces.
