Armenian chess players are among the leaders at the Al-Beruniy International Chess Tournament taking place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

After 6 rounds, in the Masters group, GM Aram Hakobyan and GM Shant Sargsyan have scored 4 points and share first place, the Armenian Chess Federation reported on Thursday.

In the Challengers group, GM Manuel Petrosyan also has 4 points and shares third place.

In the Futures group, IM Artur Davtyan has 4.5 points and shares first place.
