Armenia's boxing team heads to Bulgaria for international tournament

Armenia’s national boxing team has travelled to Bulgaria to compete in the 77th International Boxing Tournament STRANDJA. The event runs from 23 February to 2 March and has brought together more than 350 athletes from 35 countries, the Boxing Federation of Armenia reports.

The men’s squad, led by coaches Rudik Mkrtchyan and Robert Petrosyan, features Rudolf Garboyan (50kg), Zhirayr Sargsyan (55kg), Artur Bazeyan (60kg), Artur Sahakyan (65kg), Harutyun Hakobkokhyan (70kg), Marat Mikayelyan (75kg), Narek Manasyan (90kg) and Davit Chaloyan (+90kg)

The women’s team led by Vazgen Badalyan includes Elida Kocharyan and Anush Grigoryan.
