Yerevan appellate court to issue ruling in opposition podcaster's case on Monday

The Yerevan Court of Appeals is set to rule on Monday on an appeal filed by the defense team of opposition activist Vazgen Saghatelyan, co-host of the Imnemnimi podcast, against the extension of his detention.

Saghatelyan lawyers are contesting a lower court order to prolong his custody by three months. His attorney, Arsen Babayan, announced the date of the upcoming appellate ruling on Saturday.
