Yerevan kindergarten director arrested on corruption charges

The director of Kindergarten No. 143 in Yerevan has been arrested on corruption allegations, Armenia’s Anti-Corruption Committee has confirmed.

Its spokesperson Marina Ohanyan told Panorama.am that the director faces charges of embezzling property entrusted to her in particularly large amounts, as well as accepting large bribes.

No other details were immediately available.
