Wings of Unity and HayaKve team up for parliamentary elections

The Wings of Unity political initiative, led by former Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan, and the HayaKve civic initiative, coordinated by Avetik Chalabyan, will jointly run in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

The two groups on Friday signed a memorandum of cooperation pledging to form a unified political agenda focused on Armenia’s future, the Wings of Unity said in a statement.

Under the agreement, the parties will participate in the elections on the basis of the Wings of Unity political platform.

HayaKve said in a separate statement it was ready to act “on a single front” in the nationwide vote, adding that the memorandum marked the start of a long-term political partnership with Tatoyan’s party.
