Driver killed, three injured in road accident in Armenia

One person has been killed and three others injured in a road accident on the Mastara-Talin highway in Armenia’s Aragatsotn Province.

A VAZ vehicle veered off the road and overturned early on Monday morning, the Rescue Service reported.

A fire and rescue crew was dispatched to the scene. Authorities said three passengers were hospitalized, while rescuers extracted the driver from the vehicle. Emergency medical personnel pronounced the driver dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
