Armenian, Iranian foreign ministers hold phone call

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on Monday held a phone call with his Iranian counterpart Seyed Abbas Araghchi to discuss the situation in the Middle East, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said.

The ministers exchanged views on the current developments in the region. Mirzoyan expressed condolences to the families of those killed in Iran and stressed the importance of reducing tensions and achieving a peaceful resolution through dialogue.

The two officials also addressed humanitarian issues during the conversation, the statement said.
