Armenia’s Anti-Corruption Court has accepted a lawsuit filed by the Prosecutor General’s Office seeking the forfeiture of assets worth about 1.2 billion dram from former education minister Levon Mkrtchyan and his associates.
The prosecutors said they are demanding the seizure of 26 real estate properties, seven vehicles, stakes in five companies and nearly 893 million drams in allegedly illicit funds. An additional 276 million drams, deemed to have no lawful origin and transferred to third parties or untraceable, is also subject to confiscation.
