Ticket validation in Yerevan drops by 6%

Yerevan's public transport system has seen a decline in ticket validations, a municipal official said on Monday.

Speaking at a meeting of the Yerevan city hall, Sargis Manukyan, head of the Yerevan Management Technology Center, reported that overall validations dropped by 162,744, a decrease of around 6% compared with previous figures.

He noted that buses accounted for 1,707,048 validations, the subway for 502,755 and trolleybuses for 79,801, bringing the total to 2,289,604.
