Armenia highway crash leaves one injured

One person has been hospitalized following a collision involving three vehicles on the Yerevan-Sevan highway.

The accident occurred at around 6:53 a.m. local time on Wednesday. Emergency services said a Dodge, a GAZelle and a Volkswagen were involved in the crash at the 14th kilometer of the road.

Rescue crews dispatched to the scene disconnected the Dodge from the power supply to prevent further hazards. The Dodge driver had already been transported to a medical center before their arrival.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
