One hospitalized after car crash in Armenia's Ararat

A man has been hospitalized after his car overturned in Armenia’s Ararat Province early on Friday.

Emergency services said they received a call at 4:16 a.m. local time reporting a road accident near the village of Sayat-Nova. Fire and rescue crews were dispatched to the scene.

Officials confirmed that an Opel vehicle had flipped onto its roof. The injured driver was transported to a medical center for treatment.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
