Armenian athlete sets new record, claims gold at Para Powerlifting European Championships

Armenia’s Khoren Tsaturyan has set a new record at the 2026 Para Powerlifting European Open Championships in Tbilisi, Georgia.

The double world youth champion lifted 143kg in the men’s under-59kg category, securing a gold medal on Saturday, the Armenian National Paralympic Committee reported, hailing his performance as brilliant.
