Armenian gymnastics team to miss World Cup leg in Turkey

The Armenian men's gymnastics team will skip the third round of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, which kicks off today in Antalya, Turkey.

The Armenian Gymnastics Federation reports that the squad has been unable to return from a training camp in Qatar amid the escalation of regional tensions. As a result, the national team will miss the Antalya competition.

This is the second consecutive World Cup event the Armenian team has skipped. Last month, they were also absent from the second leg of the series held in Baku, Azerbaijan.
