Golden Apricot Film Festival receives FIAPF 'A'-class accreditation

The Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival has been officially classified as 'A' festival by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF).

According to the festival press service, the decision places Golden Apricot among roughly 50 festivals worldwide recognized by FIAPF, out of more than 5,000 film festivals held globally.

Founded in 1933, the International Federation of Film Producers Associations regulates and accredits top-tier film festivals worldwide that meet strict standards for programming, industry cooperation, and, transparency.

The inclusion of Golden Apricot in the FIAPF network highlights the festival’s growing role as a platform for auteur cinema and a hub for cultural dialogue between Europe and Western Asia.

Organizers say the festival will continue its mission of supporting independent filmmakers, discovering new creative voices and promoting cultural exchange through cinema.
