Court lifts preventive measures against Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan

The Court of General Jurisdiction in Armenia’s Aragatsotn Province has lifted the alternative measures of restraint imposed on Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan, Primate of the Aragatsotn Diocese.

Judge Davit Dabaghyan announced the decision on Tuesday, ruling that the restrictions should be removed. Instead, the court placed the bishop under administrative supervision and imposed a travel ban on him.
