Major car crash near Yerevan Zoo leaves three injured

Three people have been injured and hospitalized following a major road accident near the Yerevan Zoo early on Saturday.

Emergency services were alerted at 2:09 a.m. local time after a collision on Myasnikyan Avenue involving a Tesla and a BMW. The BMW veered off the road and caught fire.

Rescuers contained the blaze within ten minutes and fully extinguished it at 2:35 a.m. The vehicle was destroyed.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
