Armenian ruling party MP nominated as top court judge

At the start of its regular four‑day session on Tuesday, Armenia’s National Assembly approved the agenda without questions or speeches and moved straight to the first item.

The opening bill proposes electing ruling Civil Contract party MP Vladimir Vardanyan as a judge of the Constitutional Court at the propossl of President Vahagn Khachaturyan.

The matter was presented by Khachatur Poghosyan, the acting head of the presidential administration.
