Strong Armenia party signs MoUs with Dutch, Greek security firms

Armenia’s opposition Strong Armenia party signed memoranda of understanding with Dutch and Greek defense companies at the opening of an international security conference in Jermuk on Wednesday, pledging to expand cooperation in strengthening the country’s defense.

Party board member Narek Karapetyan announced agreements with the Netherlands-based Dyami, which trains special forces, and Greece’s DRCS, which provides combat training. He said the deals mark the beginning of wider partnerships aimed at building “strong diplomacy, military industry, smart borders, a strong army and robust air defense.”

“This is only the beginning. There will be new partners and new formats of cooperation,” Karapetyan said.
