Iranian foreign minister thanks Armenia for support

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has publicly thanked Armenia for its assistance to Iranian citizens, describing the support as a symbol of the enduring ties between the two countries.

In a post on X on Monday, Araghchi expressed appreciation to both the Armenian government and people for their role in facilitating the transfer of Iranians and providing humanitarian aid to them.

“The support of the Armenian government and people to the Iranian nation in matters of transportation and humanitarian assistance is highly appreciated,” Araghchi wrote. “The centuries-old bond between Iran and Armenia once again showed its resilience in a moment of difficulty, and these fraternal gestures will remain in the memory of the Iranian people.”
