A fire broke out in the storage area of a supermarket on Svachyan Street in Yerevan on Saturday morning. Authorities reported smoke in the vicinity at 10:59 local time.
Three fire units from the Yerevan Rescue Service were dispatched to the scene. The blaze was contained at 11:30 and fully extinguished at 11:38.
The fire damaged wooden structures, cardboard boxes, and around 3 square metres of the ceiling. Firefighters prevented the fire from spreading further. No casualties were reported.
