Strong Armenia party member rejects allegations of Russian intelligence links
Alik Aleksanyan, a member of the Strong Armenia party, has rejected allegations circulating on Telegram that he was once recruited by Russian intelligence services.
Speaking to reporters outside the National Assembly on Tuesday, Aleksanyan characterized the claims as “nonsense and slander”, insisting they were fabricated attempts to discredit him.
“These accusations are completely false. Let them write whatever they want. There’s no need to respond. Since they can’t find any blemishes in our past, they invent fairy tales,” he said.
