Armenian opposition party plans rally in central Yerevan

The opposition Strong Armenia party will hold a rally in Yerevan’s Liberty Square on April 11, followed by a march through the city center.

Narek Karapetyan, a board member of the party, announced the demonstration on Thursday, saying Armenia needs reforms to avoid decline.

“We will gather at Liberty Square at 5 p.m. to raise our voices for change,” Karapetyan said. “After the rally, we will march with lights through the city center."
