Samvel Karapetyan to deliver first public message amid house arrest

Businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan will deliver his first public messag at a rally organised by his Strong Armenia party in Yerevan’s Liberty Square on Saturday.

The event is scheduled for 17:00 local time and has been announced as a “special declaration” by the party.

The party emphasised that “changes are possible only with Samvel Karapetyan”.

Karapetyan is currently under house arrest on charges of calling for the sezure of power in Armenia rejected by his legal team and experts as politically motivated.
