Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan experienced an awkward moment during a visit to the northern town of Tashir, when a resident abruptly closed the door upon seeing him.
Pashinyan, accompanied by members of his team, was touring apartment buildings on Saturday morning. The group went door-to-door to meet residents and distribute maps.
At one apartment, a resident opened the door, briefly looked at the prime minister and then shut it without saying a word.
Officials accompanying Pashinyan sought to downplay the incident, suggesting that ongoing construction work inside the apartment may have prompted the resident's reaction.
