House fire reported in Armenian village

Firefighters in Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province battled a blaze that broke out at a house in the village of Artsvanist early on Saturday, the Interior Ministry reported.

The fire was reported at 2:39 a.m. local time, and three firefighting crews were dispatched to the scene. The flames were contained at 3:45 a.m. and fully extinguished an hour later, the ministry said.

The blaze destroyed about 182 square meters of wooden roof structures and five cubic meters of construction timber. No injuries were reported.
