Armenia destroys 9,700 kg of NAN infant formula over potential toxin risk

A total of 9,700 kilograms of infant food products marketed under the NAN brand have been destroyed in Armenia.

According to the Food Safety Inspectorate, the affected products, manufactured by Nestlé, consisted of dry, instant milk-based and fermented milk infant formula mixtures.

The decision to dispose of the batch was made on the basis of laboratory test results received from Russia, which indicated a potential risk of the presence of a hazardous toxin in the products.
