Minister says efforts underway to monitor health of Armenian prisoners held in Baku

Efforts are underway to monitor the health and conditions of Armenian prisoners held in Baku, Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan said Wednesday.

Speaking at a press briefing, Avanesyan said the issue remains under constant review, with coordination led by the Foreign Ministry. She noted that both medical concerns and broader humanitarian matters are being addressed through international legal frameworks and all available humanitarian channels.

“I can assure you that, through international law and every possible humanitarian mechanism, and under the coordination of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, this issue remains at the center of our attention,” she said.
