Parents of missing soldiers deliver letter to Macron during Yerevan visit

Parents of missing soldiers delivered a letter to French President Emmanuel Macron during his visit to Yerevan on Tuesday, urging him to help bring international attention to their case.

Speaking to Armenia Sputnik, Liparit Tovmasyan, whose son is among the missing, said the families asked the French president to mediate and raise the issue with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

Macron visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial to pay tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
