Temperatures to rise across Armenia

Temperatures across Armenia are set to rise steadily over the coming days, climbing by 6-8C between May 9 and 12. In Yerevan, brief showers and thunderstorms are expected in the evenings of May 9-11 and during the afternoons of May 12-13. Storms may bring strong gusts of wind, reaching up to 19 metres per second.

In the regions, scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast during the same period, with hail possible in some areas. Nights on May 9-11 and May 13 are expected to remain dry. Winds will generally be south-westerly at 2-5 m/s, reaching 20 m/s during storms.
