Spertsyan may have missed his best chance to leave, commentator says

Russian commentator Konstantin Genich believes Krasnodar captain Eduard Spertsyan may have already missed the ideal moment to move abroad.

Speaking to Match TV, Genich said the Armenian international remains highly valued at Krasnodar, where he enjoys strong support, but a transfer now looks more complicated.

“I feel the perfect time to leave has passed, and it will be much harder now,” Genich noted.

Despite speculation about his motivation, Spertsyan has delivered an impressive season, though he has been managing back pain in recent months. Krasnodar, Genich added, are unlikely to release their captain easily given his importance and contract terms.
