Thunderstorms and cooler weather to persist scross Armenia

Brief showers and thunderstorms are expected in Yerevan through 21 May, with strong wind gusts of up to 20 m/s possible during storms.

Across Armenia, periods of rain and thunderstorms are forecast on 16 and 19 May, while more isolated storms are expected on 17-18 and 20-21 May. Hail is possible in some areas.

Temperatures will drop by a further 3-5C on 16 May before gradually recovering over the following two days.
