Catholicos Karekin II meets OSCE/ODIHR election observation mission head

His Holiness Karekin II, the Catholicos of All Armenians, met the head of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights election observation mission in Armenia on Thursday, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin reported.

The meeting took place at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, where the Catholicos received Janez Lenarčič.

The talks focused on Armenia’s political and social climate during the pre-election period.

The two sides also discussed the importance of ensuring that electoral processes are conducted peacefully and transparently, while maintaining an atmosphere of public trust and social cohesion.
