Tatoyan pledges to defend Armenian citizens ahead of June 7 vote

Former Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan, the prime ministerial candidate of the Wings of Unity party, vowed to stand as a guardian of the nation’s dignity and citizens’ rights as campaigning intensifies for the June 7 parliamentary elections.

Addressing residents during a campaign stop on Friday, Tatoyan said: “Whoever seeks to undermine Armenia’s dignity or the rights of its people will be held accountable. Armenians should not live in humiliation.”

Tatoyan emphasized that his experience as ombudsman shaped his determination to continue protecting citizens. “I was the human rights defender of Armenia, and I will be the defender of Armenia’s rights, so that everyone knows Armenia has a leader ready to respond,” he told supporters.
