Soldier found dead at Armenian military unit

The body of Armenian serviceman Aramayis Gevorgyan has been discovered at a military unit.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the soldier was found dead shortly after midnight on Tuesday. An investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances of the incident.

In a statement, the ministry expressed condolences and solidarity with Gevorgyan’s family and fellow servicemen.

Local media reports suggest the incident took place in the southern town of Kapan.
