Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday.
The Armenian prime minister congratulated the Turkish president on the occasion of Kurban Bayrami.
Erdogan congratulated Pashinyan on his 51st birthday, the prime minister’s office reported.
"The interlocutors also exchanged views on issues on the bilateral agenda and expressed satisfaction with the intensification of contacts. In particular, the visit of Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz to Armenia to participate in the European Political Community Summit, the decision to establish Türkiye-Armenia direct trade procedures, and the opening of the Akhalkalaki-Kars railway for exports from Armenia and imports to Armenia were highlighted," it said in a statement.
