Voting begins in Armenia's parliamentary elections

Voting began in Armenia's parliamentary elections on Sunday, with 2,485,851 registered voters eligible to cast ballots at 2,005 polling stations across the country.

Polling stations opened at 8:00 a.m. local time and will close at 8:00 p.m. local time.

18 parties and alliances are competing for seats in the National Assembly.

The parties and blocs appear on the ballot in the following order:

3. Strong Armenia alliance
4. Armenian Meritocratic Party
5. New Force Reformist Party
6. Wings of Unity party
7. Prosperous Armenia Party
8. National Democratic Pole
9. Kochari National Revival and National Awakening Party
10. Armenian National Congress
11. Republic Party
12. Christian Democratic Party
13. Alliance Progressive Centrist Party (The CEC annulled its registration after the party withdrew from the election race.)
14. Democratic Consolidation Party
15. Democracy, Law and Order Party
16. Civil Contract party
17. Hayastan alliance
18. Alliance for the Protection of Republican Democracy
19. Bright Armenia Party
