Armenia’s first instance courts have received more than 50 election-related lawsuits as of 5 p.m. on Sunday, the Judicial Department announced. The majority of the cases involve petitions to add individuals to official voter lists ahead of parliamentary elections.
The Civil Court of First Instance in Yerevan recorded the highest number of filings, with 26 cases. Among the regions, Shirak reported 11, Kotayk 6, Armavir and Gegharkunik 3 each, while Aragatsotn and Lori registered one case apiece.
