Macron congratulates Pashinyan on election win

French President Emmanuel Macron has congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his party’s victory in Sunday's parliamentary elections.

“My warmest congratulations, dear Nikol Pashinyan, on this landslide victory in the parliamentary elections," he posted on X.

"I look forward to continuing the work we have begun to further strengthen our cooperation in the service of our peoples, to support peace and Armenia’s sovereignty, and to sustain the momentum toward closer ties with Europe,” Macron added.
