Armenian foreign minister thanks Latvia for supporting flower exports
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has expressed gratitude to his Latvian counterpart, Baiba Braže, for backing the export of Armenian flowers to Latvia.
According to the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the two ministers on Wednesday held a phone conversation in which Braže congratulated Mirzoyan on the victory of the ruling Civil Contract party in Sunday's parliamentary elections. She reaffirmed Latvia’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties with Armenia.
The discussion focused on expanding Armenia–Latvia cooperation, with particular emphasis on trade. Mirzoyan highlighted Latvia’s support for several consignments of Armenian flowers exported to the country, describing it as a step that could stimulate closer business links and open new commercial avenues between the two countries.
The ministers also reviewed the broader Armenia–EU partnership agenda and agreed to maintain regular contacts in the coming months.
