The Armenian prime minister’s office spent 22.5 billion drams in 2025, or 96% of its planned budget, Chief of Staff Arayik Harutyunyan told lawmakers during parliamentary debates on the state budget on Wednesday.
Harutyunyan said that of 27 government-approved measures for the office, 25 were completed. He noted that spending levels were consistent with previous years, with underperformance amounting to about 4%.
“We exceeded the 2024 indicator by 906 million drams,” Harutyunyan said.
Public awareness expenditures were fully executed at 728 million drams, he added.
In 2025, spending under the program to support the prime minister’s duties totaled 7.2 billion drams, a 9% increase compared with the previous year. Harutyunyan also reported that funds allocated for government residences were fully utilized.
