Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission (CEC) on Friday invalidated the voting results from polling stations No. 35/65 and No. 10/51, citing violations of the Electoral Code.
According to the commission, both cases involved military personnel casting ballots after 8 p.m., the legal closing time for voting. The CEC determined that the incidents constituted breaches of election regulations and voted to annul the results at the affected polling stations during a special session.
The commission also said it had referred both cases to the Prosecutor General’s Office for further investigation.
